VSC80/FS to Enhance ICPC Lagos Capabilities Following British High Commission Donation
LAGOS, JUNE 2025
The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) in Lagos are now equipped with a foster+freeman VSC80/FS, following a donation from the British High Commission which highlights the ongoing collaborative efforts of Nigeria and the United Kingdom towards improving investigative capacity and efficiency.
The VSC 80/FS workstation and accompanying accessories were received by Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner (RACC) for Lagos State, Chukwurah Alexander, on behalf of the Lagos ICPC Office, during a handover ceremony with Hannah Chatterton representing the British High Commission.
The VSC80/FS is designed for accurate and efficient document authentication and will support the investigative processes and casework of the ICPC in Lagos.
During the event, representatives of both institutions highlighted the value of such partnerships and their ability to enhance institutional tools and promote accountability through technology-driven solutions.
This recent donation forms part of a broader collaboration between Nigeria and the United Kingdom, with the goal of strengthening the rule of law, developing technical expertise, and equipping public institutions with the resources necessary to effectively fulfil their mandates.
